The Dam of Duhok is one of the dams in Kurdistan with an irrigating capacity of
(11000 X 1000) Sq. Meters, this dam was constructed by ESI (Engineer Services International) company with 33 million ID construction cost. The dam has a storage capacity of 52 million cubic meter of water and provides many services to the region such as:

1. Agricultural Services

2. Potable Water Services, particularly since the uprising, which provides areas of Barushki, Grebass and Jam'ea with potable water. The dam is 750 - 800 meter in length and 55 - 58 meter in depth.

3. Tourist Services, particularly since the uprising: there is a diving lift
with 13 person capacity and a tourist location used by the visiting tourists
