College Of Legislation And Islamic Studies was established in 1992.  The College offers a four-year full time study leading to B.A. degree in Islamic Legislation or Islamic Studies.

 

The college comprises two departments:

-         Department of Legislation

-         Department of Islamic Studies

The college, as a non-state establishment, is financially independent. The main budget is donated by Islamic personals. The college is scientifically and administratively is supervised by the University of Dohuk according to an agreement since 1995. Thenceforth, the Council of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Kurdistan recognizes the degrees awarded by the college.
